Do you stuff your Woocommerce website with excellent content and the latest products only to make minimal sales? Client awareness concerning your Woocommerce website will determine the level of your success.

There are many ways of diverting your audience to the target product. The notification bar is an easy way to create awareness of related products. They allow you to notify customers of the available products efficiently.

This article is going to show you how you can craft WooCommerce website notification bars without much hassle.

    • Step 3: Customize your Campaign via the editor

    • Step 5: Save and Publish your WooCommerce notification

What is a WooCommerce Notification Bar?

A WooCommerce notification bar is a header alert fixed on different positions on a webpage. You can set it either on the upper corner or in the lower section. The notification serves the purpose of letting your audience locate relevant data on your website.

A notification bar could help in different ways, including:

  • Let your customers learn about the introduction of a new product.
  • It will enable them to locate fresh content on your site.
  • Enable your customers to know about contests and giveaways on your website.
  • A notification bar allows you to grow your email list.

There are many notification bars plugins for WordPress, but I recommend using OptinMonster. That is because OptinMonster has many elements, including over fifty pre-made templates. The templates and themes are of much use in advancing the level of sales.

The notification bars increases your revenue by dispatching email prompts or alerts to your clients.

How to create notification bars on WooCommerce?

This section will discuss how you can create notification bars the easy way on WooCommerce using OptinMonster. Craft a WooCommerce notification Bar using the following steps.

Step 1: Sign in to your OptinMonster account

You need to sign in to your OptinMonster account to craft up a notification bar. If you haven’t used OptinMonster before, you need to sign up for the account.

To do that you need to:

  1. Go to Optionmaster.com
  2. Click on create an account.
  3. Input your email
  4. Input your password.
  5. Verify your account through a link sent to your mail.

Step 2: Choose the genre of your Campaign

  • OptinMonster gives you a variety of campaign genres, such as popups and floating bars. For our WooCommerce notification bar, let us select the “Floating Bar.”
  • Let’s move to the pre-made templates and choose the one that matches our preferred WooCommerce announcement bar. From the models, let us select a template that performs on multiple devices, including computers and mobile phones. For now, let’s use the Alert template owing to its personalization abilities for numerous purposes.
  • Label your Campaign by giving it a name of your choice. Interconnect it with your WooCommerce site and press “start building.”

Step 3: Customize your Campaign via the editor

In this section, you can modify the elements in your Campaign. For instance, you could edit the texts and the hues of the Campaign. To do that, click on the section you want to change, and the editing tools menu will pop up on the left side.

How you make modifications to your Campaign depends on the primary use of your WooCommerce notifications.

The notification positions itself in the lower part of the webpage, but you can choose to move it on the upper side.

To move the notification, do this:

  1. Click on the “float settings” found on the editor’s home menu.
  2. Click on the green button beside the “load floating bar at the top of Page.”
  3. The notification will move to the upper side.

Step 4: Determine the instance and where your notification emerges

In this section, we will design the rules for showing a prioritized announcement on the website.

To achieve that, move to the upper side of the editor and select “Display Rules.” We are going to subdivide the strategy into two major sections.

They include:

  1. “Time on Page”
  2. “Current URL”

If you happen to select the “Time on Page” option, you are deciding when you want your notification to arise. In most websites, the announcement bar emerges within the count of six seconds. Therefore, if you wish your customers have such an experience, make the time frame between five and six seconds.

Some people want the customers to come across the WooCommerce notification as soon as they land on the webpage. If this is your case, too, then you have to modify the time frame to “Immediate.”

Next, you have to determine the position of your notification based on the pages you want your WooCommerce notification to appear. For instance, if you want the notification to appear on many pages, you select the “Is any page” provision.

There are situations where the WooCommerce notification has to appear on selection merits. In that case, you have a wide variety of provisions to choose from, including:

  1. “is the home page.”
  2. “is not the homepage.”
  3. “exactly matches.”
  4. “Does not exactly match.”

On the above choices, you have to evaluate the one that best suits your WooCommerce notification. If your notification associates with a precise product, you can choose the provision of “exactly matches.”

There are situations where there is no provision that correlates with the target notification. What you do in that context is making use of the “and” element to integrate your condition.

You also possess the ability to use your “URL path” and modify settings to “contains.” With that provision, you need to determine and choose the appropriate URL path. After that, select “contains” then feed in the URL’S topic keywords, for instance, shoes.

Step 5: Save and Publish your WooCommerce notification

To do this, head over to the menu and click on the “save” option. Then check on the same bar for the “publish” option and click on it. With that, the notification bar for your WooCommerce website is ready for use.

Conclusion

Friends, you now have what it takes to set up a fantastic notification bar for your WooCommerce website. The process is simple, efficient, and convenient. You need not worry about the complex set of instructions because this article just gave you everything you need to know. Announcement bars on your WooCommerce website will help you big time in improving your revenue.

Good luck!
